DEAR GUNNERS,
We miss a great chance to close up the gap at the top. A two goal lead but we mess it up. Why? That's football. U took off on the brake little bit U paid for the consequences.Luckily, it was not the last five games in the league where every single point is precious which proved to be decisive. But on the positive side, overall Arsenal did play well, we are on top for most of the match. We had our chances to go 3 up. Andre Arshavin trademark shot (push away by Green). Fabregas drive (just miss the target ) and Van Persie point blank header (block by Green left leg on the line) in the final minutes Arsenal should have won the match. (p.s exactly the same what MU keeper Foster did in MU vs Arsenal match)
Robin put Arsenal in the lead before Gallas add another with a thumping header from a corner-kick. The two goals they got, one from a free-kick and the other from a controversial given penalty. Song and Abou defensive works seems always not in favour with the referee decision.
But dear Gunners, by right we should be happy compare to last season after nine matches we are not among the top four so we are still in good position to stay among the title contenders. With league leaders Chelsea with 24 points and second place Manchester United on 22 but both played 10 matches. Currently we are lying third with 19 points, so we are in for that with game in hand. So hang on.
Arsenal - Vito Mannone, Gael Clichy, Vermaelen, Gallas, Sagna, Abou Diaby (Eduardo), Song, Fabregas, Eboue (Bendtner), Van Persie, Andre Arshavin.
So guys get ready for the cruncher London derby this Saturday at the Emirates against Spurs. Before that, don't miss the Carling Cup Arsenal against Liverpool on Thursday morning (2.30 am). Again long live beautiful football - Arsenal way.
Guys your comment please.
