ARSENAL BACK FROM THE DEAD.

Emmanuel Adebayor one foot high challenge turn the tide into Arsenal favour.

SPURS manager Andre Villas-Boas strategy by deploying Emannuel Adebayor upfront to partner Jermain Defoe hoping the Togolese international could hurt Arsenal and his former boss Arsene Wenger and turns the Emirates to boo their team - backfired.

AVB plans nearly succeed but for only just 11 minutes after Adebayor put Tottenham in front. The striker was first to react on the rebound and wiping the ball into the net after Wojciech Szczesny  fails to grab cleanly Jermaine Defoe earlier effort. And from there on, Spurs starting to dictate the play and everything pointing towards the visitor with disaster are certainly looming over the Emirates.

The visitor could have easily taking a 2-0 lead but Aaron Lennon effort just went few inches wide of the post.

Howard Webb flash a red to Adebayor
But suddenly in the 17th minute, Adebayor turn villain as out of nothing with no pressure he came lunging in like a mad bull on Santi Cazorla bringing the little Spaniard spinning in the air and down to the ground. Howard Webb straight away flash the red card and left the visitor with tenth man.

And it did distrupt Boas plans, with Arteta starting to move up freely after earlier being stuck at the back helping out the defence line. Arsenal begin to take on full advantage launching serial attack at the visitor and it did not take long before they find the much needed equaliser.

In the 24th minute the Emirates erupted, Arsenal were back on level terms, Theo Walcott freed himself from Naughton on the right made a perfect cross for defender Pete Mertesacker who jumps high and give no chance for Hugo Lloris with a towering header.

To add salt to Spurs wound with three minutes left before the break, Lukas Podolski giving Arsenal a 2-1 lead when he unleashed a left foot shot in the box which took a bit deflection off William Gallas back foot, caught Lloris out of his position.

Cazorla influential in midfield
Santi Cazorla who was pale shadow of himself against Fulham last Saturday back in the groove and made  a fine run in the box waltzed past two defenders before guiding in a low cross from the left with Olivier Giroud came sliding in reaching out his left foot to tuck in past helpless Lorris to made 3-1 in stoppage time.

In the second half right on the hour mark, Cazorla then put his name on the score sheet scoring Arsenal fourth goal to give Arsene Wenger a comfortable 4-1 lead but hardworking Gareth Bale reduced the deficit to made it 4-2 with a fine individual goal in the 70th minute.

Despite the goal, it did not stop Arsenal repeating the same scoreline as in their previous meeting last season. Deep in injury time, Theo Walcott complete Boas misery with calculated finished after substitute Alex-Ox-Chamberlain gleefully outran two defenders on the right before finding him to complete the rout.
