FULHAM MADE ARSENAL SWEAT

Arsenal got their first Premier league penalty but Arteta blew it
ARSENAL once again just fail to hang on to their 2-0 lead against Fulham at the Emirates on Saturday but they were made to sweat to clinch a 3-3 draw. The Gunners drew first blood with a fine taken goal by Olivier Giroud in the 11th minute for his first Premier League goal at the Emirates. Podolski then made it 2-0 in the 23rd minute with a simple tap in from Mikel Arteta.


But hold on to your seat, Fulham is not finish yet as they came back strongly with Manchester United reject Berbatov leading  the way six minutes later and substitute Alex Kacaliknic headed in the equaliser before the end of first period.

In the second half the visitor stunned Arsenal when they took a 3-2 lead. Mikel Arteta clumsily pulled down Bryan Ruiz in the box. With Berbatov calmly tuck in from the spot. But Arsenal were back on level term at 3-3 with a Giroud header.

Late in injury time Arsenal were rewarded a penalty after Fulham defender Sascha Reichter being adjudge handling the ball. Mark Schwazer then made a splendid save to deny Arteta spot-kick which might had given Arsenal a win.
