WENGER NEEDS A LOT OF CATCHING UP TO DO

ARSENAL trip to Old Trafford on Saturday can be considered as lucky for not being hammered severely by the Manchester United front men. The 2-1 scoreline did not totally really reflect the actual game itself.

A miss penalty by Wayne Rooney, Antonio Valencia sitter and Robin Van Persie effort could have easily double the scoreline not included two incredible saves made by Vito Mannone. If that all has gone in what it could means to Arsene Wenger and their faithful Gunners - its must be surely a heartbreaking moment.

Mannone splendid saves from Rooney
The scoreline did spare Arsenal the blushes despite total dominant by the Reds Devil. Only Bacary Sagna, Jack Wilshire, Pete Mertesacker and Vito Mannone did stood up for them and really work hard.

The usually reliable skipper Thomas Vermaelaen, Mikel Arteta, Santi Cazorla, Podolski just fail to impress. Not to mention Giroud, Ramsey and Santos.

Right up from the kick-off it was simply United all the way, Arsenal did have some possession but just could not find the breakthrough. Then a costly error made by skipper Thomas Vermalaen started Arsenal downfall which was quickly punished by who else -Robin Van Persie.

Whatever it is, Arsene Wenger must start to build up his side and turn them once again into a team of worthy title challengers. Those result against Norwich, Schalke 04 and Manchester United already speak for itself that the Arsenal boss need to find the remedy and the cure or else it will be another disastrous campaign.
