CHAMAKH MARK HIS 1ST GOAL AT THE EMIRATES

Marouane Chamakh celebrates after scoring Arsenal's 1st goal
ARSENAL'S new signing striker Marouane Chamakh scores his first goal at the Emirates Stadium in a 1-1 draw against AC Milan in the Emirates Cup tournament last night.

The former Bordeaux striker finds the net in the 36th minute when Andre Arshavin burst through the AC Milan defence and deliver a perfect pass for the Morrocan's international to place his shot pass goalkeeper, Christian Abbiati.

But AC Milan drew level 13 minutes from time when Brazilian's striker Alexander Pato headed in past Lukasz Fabianski direct from Clarence Seedorf free-kick. Another Arsenal's new signing defender Laurent Koncielny also making his debut partnering Thomas Vermaelen at the back.

Also included in the Arsenal's line up is the 18th year old Jack Wilshere and Emmanuel Frimpong in midfield and later was replace by Mark Randall who had a glorious opportunity to score but was deny by Abbiati twice in quick succession.

Other notable players feature in the match such as Theo Walcott, Bacary Sagna, Johan Djorou, Keiran Gibbs, Tomas Rosicky, Samir Nasri, Emmauel Eboue, Andre Arshavin, Thomas Vermaelen (captain), Laurent Kocielny and Lukasz Fabianski.

Meanwhile other first team team members Alexander Song, Nicklas Bendtner and Abou Diaby were not included.
