FA CUP 3RD ROUND - ARSENAL BREEZE PAST LEEDS UNITED 3-1

ARSENAL gave another sublime performance at Elland Road to book their passage into the fourth round of the FA Cup with a 3-1 win against Leeds United in the 3rd round replay yesterday. 
Samir Nasri get the Gunners going early as in the 5th minute, Bacary Sagna made it two and Bradley Johnson reply for Leeds before substitute Robin Van Persie seals the match for the 4th round tie against Huddersfield.

Arsenal showed they really mean business when they shocked Bryan Grayson's side through  Samir Nasri who was given the trust to lead the side in the 5th minute. Arshavin started the move supplying the pass into Chamakh to step over for the Frenchmen to came in from behind calmly slotted in pass Schmeichel.

The visitor could have easily double the lead when Schmeichel made a brilliant save on the line from Maroune Chamakh header.

Right-back Bacary Sagna then made it 2-0 on the half hour mark with a bullet strike on the edge of the box. But Leeds defender Bradley Johnson terrific strike just before half-time bring the home side back into the game.

In the second half with the scoreline still remain at 2-1 for the visitor. Arsene Wenger then made a double substitution by bringing in Cesc Fabregas and Robin Van Persie for Arshavin and Chamakh in the 71st minute.

Four minutes later from Nicklas Bendtner inviting cross was perfectly head down by Robin Van Persie to wrapped up the match for Arsenal into the next round.
