ARSENAL - CLINGING ON THE TITLE RACE

ARSENAL still hanging on for the Premier League Title race when they shrugged off Steve Bruce's side Sunderland 2-0 at the Emirates. The Gunners remain third behind Manchester United with two points while current league leaders Chelsea by six points.

After some uncharasteristics performance in midweek, Arsenal pull themselves together to notch a morale-booster win over Sunderland with a subsequently below par performance and should consider lucky if distracted Black Cat's striker Kenwyn Jones reported been pursued by Liverpool have not been sharp enough.

Goals by Nicklas Bendtner in the first half and late goal by captain Cesc Fabregas ensured Arsenal still remain in the hunt for league title. Meanwhile both defender Sol Campbell and goalkeeper Fabianski whose blunders in the Champions League defeat against FC Porto were not in the starting line-up with Almunia and Slyvestre taking over their places respectively.
