DROGBA D' ESTROYER

DIDIER Drogba once again pull off another magnificent display when the Ivorian single handed sent Arsenal young stallions packing at Stamford Bridge scoring two goals to put Chelsea back at top of the Premier League two points ahead Manchester United on Sunday.

Arsene Wenger's men should consider themselves lucky not to go down by three nil if Drogba 's free-kick have not went in instead rattling the crossbar which brought huge relief to the travelling Arsenal fans.

Arsenal hoping to put behind their frustration after losing 3-1 to Manchester United earlier find some difficulity in getting past the Chelsea defence which stood firm like a brickwall lead by the Blues captain John Terry.

When the visitor thought they are already in the game, Carlo Ancelotti's side  then shocked Arsenal when they took a 1-0 lead from a corner kick which left unmarked Didier Drogba at the far post easily wipe in past Almunia from John Terry header.

Still Arsene Wenger's side never learned from previous matches as they continued to pile up the pressure they were suddenly caught on the break. England's midfielder Frank Lampard break through the semi-circle find Drogba on the right. With one swift move the striker cut in past two defender before blasting a thunderous left-footer past the baffled Almunia for his second in the match.

In the second half, the Gunner's tried in vain lead by captain's Cesc Fabregas  fo save the match but seems to lack of ideas whenever they come to face with the home side defence. The visitor should have consider themselves lucky not to suffer a much heavier defeat.

Another loss against the inform visiting Liverpool side at the Emirates on Wednesday could subsequently ended Arsenal hopes for the title.
