ARSENAL WALKING ON TIGHTROPE DESPITE A 1-0 WIN AGAINST UDINESE

THE first five minutes it was the Arsenal side that we used to watch. But the next 85 minutes it was totally bizarre, a different looks of the Arsenal side that played against Udinese in the qualifying Champions League match at the Emirates last night.

Despite winning 1-0 through an early goal by Theo Walcott, the return-leg would be likely a hell of 90 minutes for the Arsene Wenger side to book a place in the group Champions League match. The Italians surely will go for an all out assault with the backing of their home fans.

There is no more the usual pin-pointing passes that thrill and excited us. Except the side that looks just waiting for the net to burst. Newly-signed Gervinho did impress by showing glimpse of hope with his darting run and not afraid of taking the visiting defenders.

Defenders and standby team captain Thomas Vermaelen, Laurent Koncielny, Bacary Sagna and goalkeeper Wojiech Szescny working very hard to keep the Italians front line led by the Siera A top scorer De Natale at bay.

Hopefully with the return of newly appointed team captain Robin Van Persie back in the side after one match suspension and Jack Wilshire recover in time from his injury could give the Arsenal some hope in the second-leg. Next EPL Liverpool.
